As the 2008-2009 Big Game Hunting Season approaches, we are asking you to
consider a sponsorship of or donation to the South Carolina Landowners and
Hunters for the Hungry (HLFH). ALL monies received go to our sole cause, which is
to provide venison to needy persons here in South Carolina a nutritional source of
food. No one in HLFH receives any compensation for his or her efforts; we are all
volunteers. South Carolina Hunters and Landowners for the Hungry is a 501(c)(3)
nonprofit corporation. All financial contributions are tax deductible to the full
extent of the law. A financial statement is available from the South Carolina Dept.
of Revenue & Taxation. Our tax I.D. Number is 02-0726554.
This campaign is one of two of our main fund-raising activities
for the year. All of our income is generated through the
donation of funds to our organization, and we would like
to thank you for your consideration of assisting us in our
cause by way of funding a sponsorship to the level of your
choosing. We strongly believe that we can make a difference
here in South Carolina through our charitable efforts and
we know (and we need YOU to know!) that we could not do it

We are also soliciting your support by way of donating venison. Since the crux of what we’re about is getting deer meat to those who are most needy, we need deer meat. Take your deer to a participating processor. When you pick up your deer, let the participating processor know how much of the meat is for donation. He will see to it that the meat is put into our program.
